Event: Oppose Blakeman’s Attack on Women (Mineola, NY on 10/20/2025 @ 12:15 PM)

THIS MONDAY, Oct. 20th – Help send the message to Blakeman that his disrespect of women will not be tolerated! 

• WHAT:  Nassau Residents for Good Government (NRGG) is holding a Rally to Oppose Bruce Blakeman’s Attacks on Women.  Add your voice to NRGG’s demand that Blakeman run on his record, and not on lies and distortions that are polluting the election, and disrespecting women.

• DATE/TIME: Monday, October 20, 2025,  at 12:15pm – 1pm – Please arrive promptly.

• LOCATION: Front steps of the Nassau County Legislative Office Building, 1550 Franklin Avenue, Mineola

• WHO: Nassau residents who are angry at Blakeman’s thinly veiled attacks on women and his smokescreen misogyny.  Women, and men who respect women.  Confirmed speakers include representatives from: Planned Parenthood, Moms Demand Action, South Shore Women’s Alliance, a criminal defense attorney (our own Lisa Saltman), and other community leaders.  Jody is MC, and Nina Gordon will kick off the event, singing “I am Woman, by Helen Reddy!”   We have strength in numbers!!
